Jobs created means the full-time equivalent (8 productive hours per day/40 productive hours per week) permanent or contracted jobs created within two (2) years of receipt of STEP funds. Jobs created includes part-time jobs that, when aggregated, total full-time employment.

Jobs retained means jobs that otherwise might have been lost to the community if the activity had not been done. Existing jobs do not count as Jobs retained if they were not at risk of being lost.
