International Diplomacy

California has signed memorandums of understanding and other agreements with countries and regions around the world. These agreements represent a formal declaration between countries, states, provinces, and cities to increase our trade and investment relations and also to collaborate on key policy issues like climate change. Such agreements are a symbol of mutual goodwill thereby encouraging bilateral cooperation.
