U.S. Domestic & Foreign Commercial Service U.S. Domestic & Foreign Commercial Service

This is the trade promotion arm of the U.S. Department of Commerce’s International Trade Administration. There are 13 U.S. Commercial Service offices in California:

Monterey Silicon Valley Los Angeles (Downtown)

U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) logo U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA)

The U.S. Small Business Administration is a federal agency that delivers counseling, training, and financing to entrepreneurs to plan, start and grow their small business.  It has a particular focus on assisting exporters – via export counseling, loan guarantees for commercial loans to grow exports, and funding for export development grants. There are 6 SBA District Offices in California and 3 SBA Export Finance Centers:

Export Import Bank Export – Import Bank of the United States (Ex-Im Bank)

The Export-Import Bank’s  mission is to assist in financing the export of US. goods and services to international markets. Ex-Im Bank enables U.S. companies — large and small — to turn export opportunities into real sales that help to maintain and create U.S. jobs and contribute to a stronger national economy. There are 3 Western Region Ex-Im Bank offices in California: Irvine, San Francisco, and San Diego.

In partnership with the U.S. Commercial Service, District Export Council’s provide workshops and seminars on exporting. There are 5 District Export Council’s in California:

The World Trade Centers The World Trade Centers

The World Trade Center aims to facilitate trade by providing education, compiling resources, and building connections by hosting global delegations. There are 3 World Trade Center offices in California:
