California’s economic development office awards $73.5M in tax credits for high-growth companies

“California’s state economic development office has approved $73.5 million in California Competes Tax Credits for 22 companies that have pledged to create nearly 6,000 new jobs, including four with local operations. The Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development, or GO-Biz, offers future California tax credits as an economic development incentive to companies that pledge to invest in California facilities and to add new employees over a five-year period.” Read the Sacramento Business Journal article here.
