GO-Biz Now Accepting Applications for the California Community Reinvestment Grants Program

Sacramento, CA – The Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development (GO-Biz) announced that it is now accepting applications for the California Community Reinvestment Grants (CalCRG) program.  GO-Biz will award grants to local health departments and community-based nonprofit organizations to provide qualifying support services to communities harmed by the War on Drugs.  

“The War on Drugs ravaged communities across the state,” said the Governor’s Chief Economic and Business Advisor and Director of GO-Biz Lenny Mendonca. “The California Community Reinvestments Grants program is an important step towards reinvesting in these communities and beginning to address and repair the multi-generational impacts of the War on Drugs.”

Members of the CalCRG team are available to provide technical application assistance via phone at (916) 322-2683 or email at CalCRG@gobiz.ca.gov.  The deadline to submit applications is Thursday, May 16, 2019, at 11:59 p.m. (Pacific Time) and the online application website will automatically close once this deadline has passed.  The online application can be accessed via a link at www.business.ca.gov/CalCRG.
